My Farmbox inspiration is coming from a meal I prepared for my family during the Lunar New Year. The simple orange chicken and veggies wrapped in Bibb lettuce, makes for a quick meal during the busy work week.

This Moroccan Carrot Salad is a delicious side dish paired with anything inspired by African or Middle Eastern flavors, such as this Chicken Tagine with Apricots & Almonds or this Squash & Chickpea Stew. You can even switch up the colors - or mix & match - will beautiful purple haze or rainbow carrots!
Mild tomatillo pairs well with spicy raw garlic and jalapeño in this fresh green salsa recipe. Start with a seeded jalapeño to monitor the spice level - you can always add in the seeds or a second pepper to dial up the heat. Try this on pork carnitas tacos, as a topping for your grilled veggies, or to snack on with tortilla chips.
Heat oil in a small sauce pan set over medium-high heat. When it begins to shimmer, add ginger, jalapeño and orange zest and stir to combine. Sauté mixture until ingredients soften, approximately 2 to 3 minutes, then add garlic and continue cooking until it softens, approximately 1 to 2 minutes longer.
