Who is From the Farmer?

From the Farmer is a sister company of Farm to People that’s been operating in the Washington DC area for over seven years! Just like us, they’re on a mission to make good food more convenient for everyone.

By joining forces with From the Farmer, we’re able to bring you a ton of new and exciting upgrades to your shopping experience! Order customization, additional subscription options, shopping for extras in our marketplace, and much more! We’re super excited for you to check out everything your new account has to offer 🙂 

Help! I can’t log in!

To access your account on From the Farmer’s website, you’ll need to set up a new password. Simply follow the steps below!

  1. Visit

  2. Enter your account’s email address and password, then press “Create My Account.”

  3. Click the link in your email to confirm your account and log in! Make sure you are visiting your new account login page:

If you didn’t receive an email with the subject “Finish setting up your From the Farmer account” after completing step two above, please check your spam filter! If still no luck, contact us and we can help further!

How do I customize my weekly order?

Each week, we send you a “What’s Fresh” email on Saturday mornings that outlines what produce items will be included in your next box.

After receiving your “What’s Fresh” email on Saturday, you’ll now be able to log into your account and press the blue “Customize” button. For each item you remove from your box, you can receive a double portion of another item 🙂

Here’s a quick video that demonstrates the customization process. Keep in mind that customization is only available online from Saturday morning (after we publish your produce list) until Sunday at midnight!

How do I order extras from the store?

Each week from Thursday morning until Sunday at midnight, you’ll be able to shop for items to arrive alongside your upcoming Wednesday delivery — these items can either supplement, or replace your weekly subscription order!

To shop for extras, just browse our store, add any desired items to your cart, and don’t forget to check out by visiting your shopping cart! It’s the red “basket” style icon in the upper right corner of your screen 🙂

What new produce box subscriptions are available?

We’re still offering both the small and large seasonal boxes you’re familiar with, but now we’re providing four new boxes to choose from!

  • All Fruit Box | $32 per delivery | 5-6 items, perfect for fruit lovers.
  • All Veggie Box | $32 per delivery | 7-8 items, ideal for veggie lovers, or folks on a low-sugar diet.
  • Local Box | $37 per delivery | 7-8 items, sourced exclusively from the Mid-Atlantic area all year long.
  • Organic Box | $39 per delivery | 8-9 items, 100% certified organic!

To change your subscription and try out one of these new options, just visit the Subscriptions page of your account. Changes to your subscription can be made from Thursday morning until Sunday at midnight each week!

What new subscription add-ons are available?

In addition to all the options you’ve had to-date, we’ve just released a bunch of new subscription add-ons!

To name just a few, we have freshly baked bread, locally harvested mushrooms, sustainable meat boxes, microgreens, and much more! Visit the Subscriptions page of your account to see the new options, and keep in mind – changes to your subscription can only be made from Thursday – Sunday each week.
