Our mission is to make good food more convenient. We build relationships with real people making great products to provide our customers with the highest quality, tasty and thoughtfully produced food available. To us, sharing stories is as important as sharing food. By connecting you to the people and the place where your food comes from we are not only turning dinner into discovery, but also making it more delicious.
From The Farmer co-founders, Jason and Nick, attended the University of Denver where they were bonded by their love of local foods and cooking. After starting a campus organization at University of Denver that fed hundreds of students, faculty, and alumni they realized that they were destined to not only be life-long friends, but business partners.
Out of an ambition to not work in the corporate world, they decided to create a company emphasising their shared passions - food - and how it brings people together. Both knew that there were other big-box companies delivering brand-name groceries, but saw an opportunity to focus on just a few local purveyors who grew and created exceptional produce and provisions. In 2010, From The Farmer was born.
We have worked on farms and in restaurants. We have studied nutrition and food policy. We spend our free time traveling and tasting and tinkering in the kitchen, choosing the right partners and products and recipes so you don’t have to.
